Fall Final

The Fall Final was a bit easy, but had a few complacating aspects to it such as the coroder from were the fuse came out of. With this project I used the blend tool the gradient tool and also the pen tool. I must say I have came along way with the pen tool from when I very first started Adobe Illlustrator, but over all it wasnt to bad.

Farmers Insurance logo redisign

In this project I had to redisign Farmers Insurance's logo in my own peronal way. I had originally chosen a circle to go around FIG abrevitations but thought that a shield would be a better choice to give the sense of being safe with your insurance. Overall the pentool is still giving me a bit of trouble but im getting better. Although i did stick with farmers insurance orignial colors because that was about the only thing i did like aobut there logo. Tough project but like i said its always good to see your work when its all said and done.

Personal Expression

In my personal expresion i had to make my own background first of  all which i have goten signifingtly better at doing. i also had to choose multiple words which were supose to resemble me i think these are pretty good.

Snowboard project (Vector Effect)

My project was having to make well this which im not gona lie it came out alot better than i thought it would. Alot of it was new such as image trace and having to use the pen tool more wich im not really the best at so that was all really frustrating but in the end i happy for what its worth.

Lilipad picture

Honestly I think this lilipad came out great though it took alot of work it was worth it in the long run. Most of the time consuming parts of this project were the lili's leaves making each individual leafs shape with the pen tool. This project also used a lot of blending and mesh so that I could make the water, leaves, and pad them selfs all blend seemlessly together. Although It was new and challenging I had tons of fun creating it.

This is my cute basketball player we started in class 2 days ago (Oct.9,2012) to be honest it wasnt very hard although i really like how it finished.

Las Vegas

This is my Las Vegas sign I had to recreate. It took quite of bit of time and frustration. Although Im pretty proud of how it turned out.

Typography test 9/26/12

In this test I chose Albert Einstein's famous quote " Anyone who has never made a  mistake has never tried anything new" for the basline. I always knew this quote ment alot to me and now I finally had a chance to re-design it make it my own. First I wrote part of the quote in Myro pyrid to show the simplicity of it. I also wrote Einstein's name in Old English to show the safistication and quality of him. Next I wrote "has never" and " new" in Elephant bold to show how much the words me and contribute to the quote. And as for the black to white, black to white backround I did this to show trying something new and then having mistake over and over with the quote in the middle to represent triumph and success from learning your mistakes.

My glyph monster 9/25/12

Over all with my glyph monster I think it came out very well. Although I ran into some tough incounters such as the hands I was not to sure about and what symbol or letter I should put there i think I made a good decision. This was also a really fun project and look foward to do it again sometime.

leading is the beginning of a word that sets out the rest of the word on how you read and what you see. kerning is when two letters are closer than usual together.

Fancy fonts such as old English are hard to read and should be used sparingly although easy to read fonts like time new roman can be used a lot more

Ethics are a set of rules and guidelines set for your self that you should follow. Ethics are used in the work place to prevent messing up or ruining of something. Ethics also help you be hyper organized.

The image that is see makes me feel hot like it just got warmer in here and i think it can affect your mood because the eye sees and the brain interprets what it thinks it is affecting your mood.

2 things that i am looking forward to most this year is, first it would have to be dodge ball in P.E.. Mostly because I already just love dodge ball because whats funner than just throwing things at people and especially when we were unpacking all the equipment and blowing up all the balls there gonna hurt... Second would probably  have to be graphic design and illustration working on all the software and such and then that feeling you get when your done with project and your like ye I did that i also had fun making the blog in class even though it was weird. All in all though those are the things I'm looking forward to most I think this will still be a fun year.

I LIKE MMA, SOCCER, DODGE BALL, ELECTRONICS, AND BASKETBALL. BY THE END OF THIS CLASS I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE LEARNED TO CREATE ART ON THE COMPUTER IN MY OWN CREATIVE WAY.
